      Flag-raising ceremony:  including the official announcement of Buffalo State Peace Charter, participation of Campus West students, local VFW, American Legion, Buffalo Police Department, Buffalo Fire Department. Welcoming remarks by Dr. Scott Johnson and address by Dr. Laurie Buonanno.The flag-raising ceremony will take place in Perry Quad starting at 12:15 p.m.

    • Tuesday, October 23

    Leadership Meeting:  Dr. Norman Kurland with Buffalo State Economics Department and Buffalo/Western NEw York Economic will hold a conference at City Hall with the participation of Mayor Brown and other key city officials. The Urban League as well as other community organizations will be invited to participate.

    Speaking Engagement: Mr. Eric Monte will be at Buffalo State College to speak to classes and student groups
